Today was a very cool day. After some exercise and Sharon’s trading we drove over to the New Orleans Museum of Art. Sharon bought tickets for a special show they are presently having; Queen Nefertari. She was the Queen of Ramses III. The show is on loan from The City of Turin, Italy and has amazing artifacts in the collection. We both have a great interest in the time period. From there we went to have lunch with some friends that we met at Meaher State Park on our previous stop. Dave and Sue are awesome to hang out with. It was muffuletta sandwiches and another round of beignets!! Sharon and I spent the remainder of the afternoon walking approximately 5 miles around a cool residential section and c ity greenway near the RV park. Sharon did some exercise in one of the pocket parks !!
